Senior Cultural Resources Project Manager

We have a new opportunity for a Sr Cultural Resources PM to join an employee-owned firm that has been around for more than 30 years. We have around 200 people between 7 offices throughout California.
We provide a broad range of environmental and design services throughout CA and the western US. We work with an equal mix of private and public clients, and have very interesting, meaningful and diverse set of projects/sectors for you to work on in a collaborative environment.

General Responsibilities
You will be get to work on a diverse range of cultural project types throughout the LA and SoCal region.
You will work with and be supported by the SoCal Cultural Resources Group Manager.
Supporting business development is an important aspect of the position and includes preparing proposals, participating in client and agency meetings, and attending client outreach activities to generate business leads.
Technical duties include project management; document preparation; coordination with other cultural resources and environmental planning staff, subconsultants, and Tribal representatives; logistical support of field staff; and QA/QC of the field-to-reporting process.
Oversight and direct participation in field survey, excavation, laboratory analysis, and construction monitoring may also be required.
Minimum Requirements
Master's Degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, history, or closely related field with a concentration in archaeology and RPA
8+ years of archaeological experience including preparation of proposals and archaeological studies/reports and experience with agency consultation/coordination
Knowledge of the federal (NEPA/NHPA/NAGPRA) and California laws and regulations (CEQA, Health and Safety, AB 52) pertaining to historic and archaeological resource management and an understanding of regulatory agency programs, procedures, and policies related to CRM
Experience with Southern California coastal and inland prehistoric and historic archaeology within Los Angeles and Ventura counties
Experience with Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III archaeological survey, analysis, and documentation requirements
Experience coordinating with local Tribal representatives, resulting in positive Tribal relationships
Bonus Experience
Archaeological experience in Kern, Kings, or Santa Barbara counties
Experience with a variety of utility, infrastructure and development project types, document types, and private sector/public agency clients
Knowledge of the California environmental and regulatory setting
