Archaeological Director/Principal Investigator
Sacramento - Hybrid of remote work and on-site work
We have an immediate opening for a full-time Archaeological Director/Principal Investigator based in Northern California; the position is a hybrid of remote work and on-site work depending on need. The selected candidate will use their experience to manage, conduct, and lead meaningful projects for current and future clients in multiple industries and sectors. This position will have the opportunity to build a team of professionals and will work closely with other Directors in Central California, Great Basin, and Pacific Northwest allowing for unique experience building opportunities and collaboration.
Qualifications:
Meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards in Archaeology
Master’s degree in a relevant field (Archaeology, Anthropology, Cultural Resources Management)
Minimum of five years’ experience in project management and client coordination
Prior work experience in San Joaquin Valley/Northern California
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination before the first day of work
Demonstrated ability in preparing high-quality deliverables to Federal Standards (BLM, NPS, USFS, etc.)
The successful candidate will become an integral member of our dedicated team of professionals and work in a collegial and positive environment. As a Director you will be expected to perform efficiently in a team environment as well as working independently in a fast-paced environment. You will also be expected to work with minimal supervision in collaboration with other Directors and our Management Team comprised of other cultural resources professionals.
